Can Enhance Mathematical Ability

Maths Tutor Perth

A recent article in Early Childhood Research Quarterly suggests that parents are not engaging their children with the right type of questions and learning opportunities when it comes to math problems in their child’s early years and that this may have a negative effect on their child’s later mathematical development.

The research study found that in the case of geometric shapes, parents are often “pointing… or naming shapes… instead of asking [children] about the characteristics of the shape or wondering what else children might be able to compose with those shapes.”

Fortunately, our skilled Intuition tutors know the right maths questions to ask that can help students develop their later mathematical ability.

So, put aside the stress of teaching your child maths, and book them in for an individual or group maths tutoring session today!
