Attendance Policy for Tutoring Sessions

At Intuition Educational Support, consistent attendance is essential to ensure the best outcomes for your child’s learning. To maintain the integrity of our tutoring programs and provide the highest level of support, we have implemented the following attendance policy:

Minimum Attendance Requirement

   •   Students are required to attend a minimum of 8 out of 10 sessions in a standard 10-week term.

   •   Regular attendance allows tutors to deliver a comprehensive and cohesive learning experience tailored to your child’s needs.

Casual Tuition Fees

   •   If attendance falls below the required 8 sessions per term, the student’s enrollment will be classified as casual tuition for the term.

   •   Casual tuition incurs an additional fee of $20 per session to account for the additional resources and planning necessary to accommodate irregular attendance.

Make-Up Sessions

   •   We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Where possible, make-up sessions can be arranged, subject to tutor availability, to ensure the attendance requirement is met.

   •   Make-up sessions must be scheduled within the same term ​or during the school holidays and cannot be carried forward to the next term.

Notice of Absence

   •   Parents/guardians are required to notify the centre at least ​6 hours in advance if a student is unable to attend a session.

   •   Failure to notify may result in the session being forfeited without the opportunity for a make-up class.

   •   Consistency in attendance helps build foundational skills and ensures students stay on track with their learning goals.

   •   Frequent absences disrupt the learning process and may hinder your child’s progress.
