Intuition Educational Support prides itself on developing a learning environment where students learning styles are recognised and optimised to their full learning potential.
Located in the Inner North of Perth, just off the freeway, we offer individual or small group tuitional services for all ages. Our tuition is delivered in an environment that is safe, friendly and enjoyable.
We specialise in developing individual learning programs that are engaging and designed to complement student's specific learning needs, with scope for extension or corrective work.
Our tuition process begins with a free assessment and consultation to discuss and determine how each student learns best. We recognise strengths, growth areas and any gaps to plan an individual program with the most effective learning strategies to optimise learning outcomes in the shortest possible timeframe.
At Intuition Educational Support a tutor is more than just a tutor; they are highly qualified teachers or highly skilled in their area of expertise. When it comes to connecting with students, an IES tutor encourages and motivates students to thrive.

Meet Our Tutors
All of our tutors bring a unique set of skills and expertise to our tutoring centre. They have obtained the necessary working with children checks and are either qualified to teach children or are in the process of completing a University Degree.
They are also fully accredited tutors with the Australian Tutoring Association Accredited Tutors. Additionally all of our tutors are EdMED trained.
Trish Baran
Principal Educator - Tutor
As Principal Educator, Founder and Tutor of Intuition Educational Support, Trish has nearly thirty years experience as an educator and seven years as a tutor in both Sydney and Perth.
Trish has a background in Medical Science and holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Science from The University of Newcastle and a Master of Teaching from The University of Sydney. Trish also holds Postgraduate qualifications in Adult Education, Literacy and Inclusive Education.
As a fully qualified teacher, Trish has taught in a variety of schools across all curriculums and grades. She has also previously held roles as a Literacy Coordinator and later as a Special Needs Coordinator.
Nick
Nick is our resident accounting and economics expert. He has an Accounting and Finance degree from Curtin University and is in the midst of his Charted Accounting qualification. Currently working for one of Perth’s premier business services firms gives Nick an in-depth understanding of the business world as seen from an accountant’s perspective.
Anthony
Anthony is our high school applied science and maths expert. Currently working on his Master of Professional Engineering, he brings a wealth of knowledge to Intuition Educational Support. He has tutored students for many years as well as worked for a major medical laboratory. When tutoring, Anthony makes sure that students enjoy their learning and reach their full learning potential.
Nick
Nick is a fully qualified primary school teacher and since graduating from Edith Cowan University in 2007 he has worked in various schools across Perth. Nick enjoys working with individual students as well as small groups. His firm but fun approach to learning is appreciated by all of his young students. Nick also holds a Cert IV in Training & Assessment.
Eloise
Eloise, our expert in philosophy and humanities, has over thirty years' experience as an educator and nine years as a counsellor. She holds a
Master of Applied Positive
Psychology from The University of Melbourne. She is also the Director of S.P.A.C.E.
Eloise is also our in house careers counsellor.
Simon
As an exercise physiologist and lecturer, Simon offers his expertise and skills in Human Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, Physical Education, Physiotherapy, Fitness and Maths. Simon has a strong academic background and has taught students at all learning levels and loves imparting his knowledge in innovative ways.
Michael
As an accomplished writer, Michael brings with him a wealth of expertise in writing. Michael holds a Master of Creative Practice in Creative Writing from Curtin University and has taught writing at the University of Notre Dame Australia and Subiaco Primary School. He currently teaches writing for Work-Shop Fremantle.
Jodi
Jodi, our expert drama teacher has many years teaching drama in both Perth and Victoria. She has also worked with children in top notch drama academies and brings a wealth of drama knowledge with her, including teaching talented and gifted students enrolled in the drama specialist course at John Curtin College of the Arts.
Courtney
Courtney is currently undertaking studies for a Bachelor of Arts (Theatre Studies)/ Bachelor of Education (English Literature and Religious Education) at the University of Notre Dame in Fremantle. Her passion is performing onstage and teaching enables her to help people through her interest in the arts.
Michael
Michael is our expert in maths and science including Chemistry and Human Biology. Currently studying a
Bachelor of Science majoring in Pharmacology at The University of Western Australia, he brings a wealth of knowledge to our team.
Juliet
Juliet works with our younger students and runs our Saturday Read Act Run program. She is currently undertaking her Bachelors degree of Education (Primary) at The University of Notre Dame. She is passionate about building confidence in children.
